Overview Services Training Recruitment

The Eastern CT Workforce Investment Board provides services to its One Stop business customers through a partnership of the Department of Labor and the six area Chambers of Commerce in the Eastern region.

The Business Services Team is a recent development of this collaboration. This team, consisting of two Department of Labor employees, and two employees representing the region’s six (6) Chambers of Commerce, was created in response to the ever-increasing needs of the business sector customers. These four members cover the 41-town area of Eastern Connecticut.

Business Services offer a core set of services, such as: Electronic Classified Advertising on CT Job Bank On-line system, On-site employer recruitments, and Job Fairs. The Business Services Team members are resources for information on grants, subsidies, or tax incentives that your organization may be eligible for, as well as training for new and/or current employees at little or no cost!

Sounds pretty enticing, doesn’t it? It has to be too good to be true, right? Wrong! There are approximately 10,000 businesses in the Eastern CT region. So tell me, why wouldn’t you want your business to be a part of this?
