EWIB has created an innovative public-private partnership of two (2) strong sources of business contacts ~ our region's six (6) Chambers of Commerce and the CT Dept. of Labor, to meet the human resource challenges faced by our region's Businesses.

Training Incumbent Workers

EWIB implements its Incumbent Worker Training program targeting regional small businesses in the healthcare & manufacturing fields throughout the region, providing skill upgrades for workers through on-site delivery. Working in partnership with the region's two (2) Community Colleges, EWIB continually explores new funding avenues for this highly successful, in-demand program.

E-Training for Small Employers

EWIB offers the region's smaller employers an opportunity to enroll their employees in the successful on-line learning program. It is yet another way to upgrade the skills of their workforce.
