Youth Early Childcare Education Pipeline (Pilot)
Eastern CT’s Youth Early Childhood Education Pipeline (Pilot)

The Opportunity:
The Youth Early Childhood Education Training:
The ECE pipeline training program targets high school Juniors and seniors with a jump start toward a meaningful, high-demand career in early childhood education. Through classroom instruction, hands-on experience, and structured mentorship, students gain real-world skills, earn college credit, and position themselves for immediate employment in a growing field that is steadily advancing toward professional wage parity with the K–12 system. This pipeline creates equitable access to living-wage careers while addressing the critical workforce shortage in early education.
