On-the-Job Training
On-the-Job Training (OJT) Programs offer area employers a unique opportunity to hire screened, eligible applicants, while saving a substantial amount of money on training costs. OJT contracts are paid for by the Eastern CT Workforce Investment Board (EWIB). The EWIB will reimburse the employer 50% – 75% of the employee’s wages during a set training period.
