EAMA RSP
The Eastern Advanced Manufacturing Alliance Regional Sector Partnership (EAMA RSP) is an employer-led group of manufacturers with operations in and around Eastern Connecticut.
Formed in 2022 and convened by the Eastern CT Workforce Investment Board (EWIB), the EAMA RSP brings together company leaders who identify common issues, challenges, and opportunities within their industry. The employer members define the priorities they want to address through the EAMA RSP and its four Working Groups: Workforce & Outreach, Business to Business, Youth Pipeline, and Plastics Program Development.
The 50+ manufacturing members of the EAMA RSP are supported by over 20 community partners who represent education, workforce development, and economic and community development. The EAMA RSP grew out of the Eastern Advanced Manufacturing Alliance (EAMA) and EWIB’s Manufacturing Pipeline Sub-Committee. During the past 15 years, what is now the EAMA RSP has earned recognition as a national leader in industry-driven partnerships. Its signature accomplishments include the development, implementation, and expansion of the Eastern CT Manufacturing Pipeline Initiative (MPI), which has placed more than 4,700 workers into employment since 2015.
The Eastern CT Workforce Investment Board (EWIB) is a non-profit agency mandated by the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014 and supported by federal, state, and philanthropic funding. EWIB accomplishes its goals by coordinating a dedicated network of partners to implement programs and initiatives including three American Job Centers located in Montville, Willimantic, and Danielson.
